GodotHub Terms of Service

1. Scope

These Terms are entered into between Guangzhou Godot Technology Co., Ltd. (“we,” “us,” or “GodotHub”) and you, whether a registered user or visitor (“user”). They apply to all features and services we provide through the GodotHub website, desktop app, and related services, including uploading works, distributing downloads, online play, ratings, comments, and community interaction.

2. Acceptance of Terms

Before using any service provided through the platform, you should carefully read and understand these Terms. By registering, signing in, or otherwise using the services, you agree to all of these Terms. If you are a minor, please review them with a parent or guardian and obtain their consent.

3. Accounts and Registration

• 1. You must provide truthful and accurate personal information when registering and keep it up to date;
• 2. You are responsible for safeguarding your account and password and for losses caused by a failure to do so;
• 3. If you discover that your account has been compromised, misused, or otherwise affected by a security issue, contact support promptly and retain relevant evidence so that we can assist;
• 4. We may restrict, suspend, or delete accounts that show abnormal activity.

4. Services and Acceptable Use

GodotHub provides services including uploading and showcasing works, download distribution, online play, comments, ratings, and community interaction. When using the services, you must comply with applicable laws and platform rules, including the following:

• 1. Do not upload, publish, or distribute files or information that are unlawful, infringing, malicious, or otherwise harmful;
• 2. Do not use the platform to infringe intellectual property rights, commit fraud, or violate any lawful right of a third party;
• 3. Treat other users with respect, and do not post harassing, discriminatory, defamatory, or obscene content;
• 4. Do not maliciously test or attack platform features, or exploit vulnerabilities for improper benefit.

5. User Content and Licence

You must own or have permission to use the works, text, images, audio, video, and other material you upload (“User Content”). By uploading User Content, you grant us an irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, distribute, communicate, promote, and otherwise process it on the platform and as necessary to provide the services.

The uploader is solely responsible for disputes or losses arising from User Content that infringes a third party’s rights. If we identify content that may be unlawful or infringing, we may remove it, restrict or close the relevant account, and cooperate with judicial or administrative authorities where necessary.

6. Intellectual Property

We and our licensors own all rights, title, and interest in the GodotHub website and services, which are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce, adapt, distribute, or use platform content for commercial purposes without permission.

7. Fees and Settlement

Core platform features are generally free. Prices and settlement methods for paid services or transactions will be disclosed on the relevant page, and users must complete payment as instructed. Published platform rules govern refunds and after-sales service.

8. Changes, Suspension, or Termination

Because online services may need to change, we may modify, suspend, or terminate a service for operational changes, system maintenance, security risks, or legal compliance. Where reasonable, we will explain the change through a website announcement or in-product notification. We may take necessary action immediately in an emergency.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, or loss of data resulting from use of, or inability to use, the platform. We do not substantively endorse or guarantee user content, third-party links, or third-party resources; users must make their own assessments and assume the associated risks.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. The parties should first attempt to resolve any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms through good-faith negotiation. If no resolution is reached, either party may bring proceedings before a court with jurisdiction where the company is located.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may amend these Terms as our services evolve or applicable laws change, and will publish the update on the platform. Your continued use of the services after publication constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
