Sunrise and sunset SunriseSunset
Simulated Operation Game with Delay Environment Change as the Core
By 山吹
A child who had never seen the sun set off with the migration team. He doesn't know why he wants to leave, what he is chasing or what he is running away from. He just follows. The team first passed through a community ready to migrate, and people removed everything they could take away. Then it passed through a community that was harvesting the last batch of crops, and the fields were already withered and yellow. Then there is the stable community, with children chasing among the branches. Further on, there is the community that has just finished the celebration and settled down. Then there is the community that has just settled down and is building a new home. Finally, the procession settled in a tree near the sunset line. And in the distance, another migratory team was already on its way. The migration star rotates once, three hundred and sixty years. When the sun reaches the back of the sun, it is already the aftertemperature of the last century. There is no alternate day and night, only a never-ending chase. All things travel to the west-always chasing the sunset that has not yet arrived. Migratory trees are born at the sunset line and burn out at the sunrise line. He has been walking westward all his life, but he is always one step slower than the sky. Into the woods is a late gathering, out of the woods is doomed to fall behind, a migration that can't catch up with the sunset after all. Light lags behind longitude, life lags behind home, and civilization lags behind the land beneath your feet. People build houses in trees, build roads between trees, trees drift eastward, and people migrate westward. Life on each tree is a delayed farewell to the place that is about to leave; the footsteps on each road are an early response to the place that has not yet arrived. The whole migratory road is a huge clock, and each colony is a phase-measuring time with distance and marking lag with longitude. They are always responding to a moment that has passed, always chasing a future that has not yet arrived. The child eventually falls asleep in the new tree on the sunset line. And the tree he walked to will eventually be left far behind by another team one day. When the whole world is lagging, the advance itself is the most gentle resistance.
